This Decree prescribes that more fines for acts of sending advertising text messages, emails and calls are added to those stipulated in the Decree No. 15/2020/ND-CP dated February 3, 2020.
In particular, fines of between 20 million dong and 30 million dong will be imposed on organizations committing the following acts (meanwhile, individuals who commit the same violation will be fined less than half of the penalty applied to organizations):
- Making more than 1 commercial call to 1 phone number within 24 hours without permission from receivers;
- Making telemarketing calls outside the time frame from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day unless otherwise agreed by receivers;
