According to this document, if persons rented land by the State in the form of annual payment of land rents are subject to temporary business closure for a minimum period of 15 days due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, they will be entitled to a 15% reduction of land rent payable in 2020.
This regulation does not prescribe any reduction in outstanding land rents accrued before 2020 and late payment interest (if any).
This reduction rate will be applied to the cases in which land lessees have various business activities, but are subject to one of their business activities at the land area or plot rented by the State.
Application documents for a reduction in land rent, including:
- Application form for a reduction in land rent in 2020, using the form given in the Appendix to the Decision No. 22/2020.
- Decision on land renting approval or land lease of a competent authority (copy).
Decision No. 22/2020/QD-TTg is taking effect on August 10, 2020.
