According to this document, the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control requires Ministries, sectoral administrations and People’s Committees of provinces and cities to inform units inviting experts for business purposes of observing the following regulations:
- Experts must be tested for SARS-CoV-2 by using Real time-PCR technique from 03 to 07 days prior to the date of entry into Vietnam.
SARS-CoV-2 tests must be conducted in laboratory facilities approved by the Government or belonging to WHO-controlled laboratory systems.
- Experts must hold international health insurance policies, or must be entitled to disease treatment payments made by agencies or organizations inviting experts in case of being infected with COVID-19.
- Inviting units have the burden of taking COVID-19 prevention and control measures to ensure safety for experts after arrival in Vietnam to work.
