Exemption from vocational training fees is granted to small and medium-sized enterprise’s employees

Hồng Thuận

On December 26, 2018, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs promulgated the Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BLDTBXH providing instructions for the vocational training provided for employees working at small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Circular prescribes that, if employees meeting requirements prescribed in clause 2 in the Decree No. 39/2018/ND-CP dated March 11, 2018 are sent to elementary-level vocational training courses or training programs lasting less than 03 months, they will be granted exemption of all training fees.

Trades and occupations in which exemption from fees for training is granted will be chosen by participating enterprises, based on sectors and industries specified in their business registration certificates, and must be in the list of sectors and industries, approved by provincial-level People's Committees.

Enterprises may, of their own accord, choose vocational training establishments located within provinces/centrally-affiliated cities where they run their business, and having competence in training in the aforesaid trades and occupations so that their employees can send their employees to participate in vocational training courses provided by these establishments.

For more details, please read the Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BLDTBXH entering into force on February 8, 2019.
