Pursuant to the Decision, the Government will commence divestment of its capital invested in a lot of enterprises for the 2017-2020 period according to the following schedule:
- In 2017, the number of enterprises subject to divestment is 135;
- In 2018 and 2019, the number of enterprises subject to divestment is 181 and 62, respectively;
- In 2020, the number of enterprises subject to divestment is 28.
- The rest of enterprises will undergo divestment occurring in multiple periods.
The List of enterprises subject to divestment this time includes some noticeable ones such as Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Airports Corporation of Vietnam, Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation and Vietnam Textile Corporation, etc.
Additionally, divestments of state capital from Hanoi Beer, Alcohol and Beverage Corporation, Saigon Beer, Alcohol and Beverage Corporation and Hospital of Transport will be carried out in compliance with separate decisions.
The Decision No. 1232/QD-TTg will enter into force from August 17, 2017.
