1. Salary
The Decree No. 76/2017/ND-CP addresses certain adjustments to the monthly retirement, social security and other benefit from July 1, 2017.
The Decree provides that from July 1, 2017 persons referred to in Article 1 thereof are entitled to an increase of 7.44% on the rate of retirement, social security and other benefit paid in June 2017.
Instructions on adjustments to the monthly retirement, social security and other benefit are given in details in Article 2 of the Circular No. 18/2017/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Additionally, the Circular No. 67/2017/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance elaborates on determination of demands, funding sources and methods of payment for adjustments to monthly benefits paid commune officers who have been allowed to resign from work in accordance with this Decree.
2. Employment
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs adopts the Circular No. 19/2017/TT-BLDTBXH dated July 3, 2017 that provides guidance on occupational safety and hygiene training.
The Circular sets out regulations on contents of training for occupational safety and hygiene professionals of training organizations accredited for provision of training services or companies fulfilling stipulated requirements for conducting their internal training, including:
- Professional or technical knowledge training: policies and laws on occupational safety and hygiene; methods of risk analysis, assessment and control, and preparation of emergency response plans; internal inspection and investigation of occupational accidents, etc.
- Professional skill training: lesson planning, presentation, consultancy, guidance and communication in the occupational safety and hygiene discipline; use of training aids.
- Training in compulsory topics: occupational safety and hygiene in production, operation and repair of electrical equipment; devices that require strict compliance with occupational safety and hygiene requirements; chemicals; construction engineering; mining.
- Other in-depth training sessions where appropriate for training professional's competency and that are enrolled in at training professional’s discretion.
