According to the Decree, female employees have rights to:
- Work under improved conditions: the employer shall ensure that there are sufficient bathrooms and restrooms at the workplace; working time should be flexible according to requests of female employees.
- Receive healthcare as follows:
+ Receive maternity-related examination during periodic check-up;
+ Have fully-paid time off during the menstruation, to be specific, 30 minutes per day and for at least 03 days per month.
+ Have fully-paid time off for 60 minutes per day to breastfeed children, collect and store milk or take rest, applicable to female employees who are raising infants under 12 months old.
- Unilaterally terminate or suspend the labor contract if there is conformation given by a competent medical facility that the continuation of working will impact negatively the embryo.
- Receive assistance from the employers in the form of establishment of kindergartens/nursery schools or provision subsidies on fees for kindergartens/nursery schools.
