Specifically, Clause 12 Article 1 of Decree No. 47/2022/ND-CP supplements Clause 8 Article 34 of Decree No. 10/2020/ND-CP as follows:
As of July 1, 2023, transport businesses that use transport business motor vehicles subject to the installation of camera-integrated tracking devices as prescribed in Decree No. 10/2020/ND-CP shall, when participating in the transport business for the first time in Vietnam, install camera-integrated tracking devices for issuance of badges and signs.
Attention: Camera-integrated tracking devices shall fully satisfy regulations prescribed in Decree No. 10/2020/ND-CP .
At the same time, motor vehicles with 10 seats or more that are converted into motor vehicles with fewer than 10 seats (including the driver seat) and have been issued with badges or signs before the effective date of Decree No. 47/2022/ND-CP may continue to be used in the passenger transport business until such badges and signs expire.
Decree No. 47/2022/ND-CP of the Government of Vietnam comes into force as of September 1, 2022.
