On February 2, 2023, the Government of Vietnam promulgated Resolution No.
09/NQ-CP on the Action Plan for the implementation of Resolution No.
20-NQ/TW on continuing the innovation, development, and improvement of collective economic efficiency in the new stage.
According to the Resolution, several specific objectives by 2045 are as follows:
- To attract at least 20% of the population to participate in collective economic organizations.
- To expand the operational scale of collective economic organizations and improve the operational quality to be equal to countries in the region and the world.
- To ensure that more than 90% of collective economic organizations operate efficiently, with at least 75% of them participating in linked chains.
- To strive to have at least 3 collective economic organizations to be in the ranking of the 300 largest collectives in the world recognized by the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA).
Resolution No. 09/NQ-CP comes into force as of its date of signing and annuls Resolution No. 134/NQ-CP dated 2020.
