According to this Circular, costs of SARS-CoV-2 test services covered by the health insurance fund will be as follows:
- SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test for an individual sample:
The maximum charge will be 78,000 dong/test.
(As currently stated in the Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BYT the maximum charge is 109,700 dong/test).
- SARS-CoV-2 test using automatic or semi-automatic immunoassay analyzer for an individual sample:
The maximum charge will be 178,900 dong/test.
(Currently, the maximum charge is 186,600 dong/test).
- Real-time RT-PCR test:
+ For a single sample: The maximum charge will be 501,800 dong/test.
(Currently, the maximum charge is 518,400 dong/test).
+ For a pooled sample: The maximum charge will not exceed the charge for a pooled sample test prescribed in column 2 of section IV of Appendix to the Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BYT dated February 18, 2022.
The Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BYT is entering into force as of February 21, 2022 as a replacement for the Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BYT dated November 8, 2021.
