Time limit for revocation of travel service business licenses to shorten

On November 30, 2021, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism promulgates the Circular No. 13/2021/TT-BVHTTDL amending the Circular No. 06/2017/TT-BVHTTDL providing guidance on implementation of the Tourism Law.

The Circular prescribes that, within 05 (now 15) working days of receipt of inspection conclusions from competent regulatory authorities, licensing authorities may issue decisions on revocation of travel service business licenses.

Decisions on revocation of licenses are sent to enterprises, inspection authorities, state immigration agencies, tax authorities and business registration authorities in the provinces where these enterprises' main offices are located.

These Decisions are posted on web portals of licensing authorities and the website for management of travel service providers.

Circular No. 13/2021/TT-BVHTTDL is entering into force as of November 30, 2021.
