According to these Instructions, after being infected with Covid-19, patients with the following underlying health conditions should be monitored and treated at hospitals:
- Diabetes;
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other lung diseases;
- Cancer;
- Chronic kidney disease;
- Organ or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation;
- Obesity, overweight;
- Cardiovascular disease (e.g. heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathy);
- Cerebrovascular disease;
- Down syndrome;
- HIV/AIDS;
- Neuropathy (including dementia);
- Sickle cell disease, thalassemia, other chronic hematological diseases;
- Bronchial asthma;
- Hypertension;
- Immunodeficiency;
- Liver disease;
- Substance use disorder;
- Treated with corticosteroids or other immunosuppressive drugs;
- Systemic diseases;
- Other childhood diseases:
Primary or secondary pulmonary hypertension, congenital heart disease, inherited metabolic disorder, congenital or acquired endocrine disorder.
Decision No. 4156/QD-BYT is entering into force as of the signature date.
