Online preschool education is not permitted

On August 24, 2021, the Ministry of Education and Training issues the Directive No. 800/CT-BGDDT regarding implementation of objectives in the academic year 2021-2022 in response to COVID-19, continuation in reform and determination to reach educational and training targets.

In order to achieve the above goals, the Minister of Education and Training request the entire education system to focus on performing the following key tasks:

Organizing the new school year’s opening ceremony in either offline or online manner, depending on local epidemic developments, ensuring safety, simplicity, practicality, showing a sense of sharing with and encouraging students and teachers to overcome difficulties to accomplish teaching and learning objectives.

In case the epidemic development is complicated, leading to the impossibility of teaching offline, then online teaching will be required to succeed in executing the school year plan, ensuring the quality of education;

Do not teach online at the preschool education level, focusing on liaising with, guiding and supporting parents to raise, take care of and educate children at home by using appropriate channels.

Paying attention to training and coaching teacher in skills necessary for online and distance teaching activities.
