By this document, the Ministry of Health requires People’s Committees of provinces and cities receiving persons moving from HCMC to take the following actions:
- If all of persons moving from HCMC (except those going past HCMC without stop or parking from other provinces or cities) are deemed as persons contacting persons in close contact with confirmed infected cases, they must:
+ spend 07 days’ health quarantine at home from the date of arrival and continue to self-monitor their health condition in 07 following days;
+ Take the SARS-CoV-2 test at least 3 times on the first, 3rd and 6th day during the at-home health quarantine period.
- During the time of self-monitoring of health condition, they are required to limit contact with people around, not to participate in any gathering involving a large number of people.
If there is any sign of fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or loss of taste, they must immediately contact nearest medical facilities for prompt actions as prescribed.
- Drivers of vehicles transporting goods in and out of Ho Chi Minh city must comply with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control according to the instructions given in the Official Dispatch No. 898/BYT-MT dated February 7, 2021 and the Official Dispatch No. 4351/BYT-MT dated May 28, 2021.
The Official Dispatch No. 5389/BYT-MT is issued on July 7, 2021.
