According to this Decision, if employees participating in unemployment insurance meet conditions for vocational training support prescribed in Article 55 in the 2013 Law on Employment, they will be entitled to the following amounts of support:
- With regard to participants in 3 months’ training courses:
The amount of support will be equal to the tuition fees charged by vocational training institutions based on the actual training duration, but not exceeding 4,500,000 dong/student/course.
- With regard to participants in more than 3 months’ training courses:
The amount of support will be calculated per month and on the basis of the tuition fees and the actual training duration, but will not be greater than 1,500,000 dong/person/month.
(According to current regulations laid down in Decision 77/2014/QD-TTg the maximum amount of support is 01 million dong/person/month, irrespective of training duration).
Notes: If employees participate in vocational training courses for less than a month as prescribed by vocational training institutions, the following rules will be applied:
- 14 days or less: the duration is rounded to half of the month.
- 15 days or more: the duration is rounded to one month.
