Within 7 days after receiving batch release permits and vaccines in the national expanded immunization project that are transported to the Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology (VSDT), the Pasteur Institute and relevant units, they will be handed over as follows:
- Regional level: The Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, the Pasteur Institute, distributors and importers can organize transportation of vaccines to storage facilities of Centers for Disease Control of provinces and cities within 07 days from the date of receipt.
- Provincial level: Centers for Disease Control of provinces and cities handle and store COVID-19 vaccines at provincial warehouses, and distribute vaccines according to the instructions given in the Decision 1464.
- District level:
+ District-level health centers transport vaccines from provincial storage facilities to district ones; or Centers for Disease Control of provinces or cities transport vaccines to districts for storage purposes.
+ 01 day before the vaccination date or right at the vaccination session, vaccines will be allocated to communes, district-level hospitals or Distributing vaccines to communes level, district hospital or immunization service sites.
- Communes or facilities obtaining immunization permits: Receiving vaccines from districts, ensuring vaccines are properly preserved and transported to vaccination venues at the vaccination session.
