Previously, on March 18, 2020, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 14/2020/TT-BTC amending the Circular No. 127/2018/TT-BTC regulating service prices applied to securities activities performed at the Stock Exchange and Vietnam Securities Depository Center.
The Circular sets out regulation on amendments which are aimed at exemption or reduction of fees or charges for 15 securities services from March 19, 2020 and in effect till August 31, 2020, including the followings:
- Reduction in prices of 3 securities services such as trades or transactions on underlying or derivative securities exchanges; securities depository services.
- Exemption of fees for registration of the initial listing of securities.
For the time being, in order to support organizations and individuals affected by COVID-19, the Ministry of Finance decides to extend application of the Circular No. 14/2020/TT-BTC to end of June 30, 2021.
