The Social Security agencies in provinces and centrally-affiliated cities will carry out the collection of compulsory SI contributions according to the following instructions:
- Persons eligible for participating in the compulsory SI program are employees prescribed in Article 2 of the Decree No. 143/2018/ND-CP dated October 15, 2018;
- Contribution rates and methods, and salary amounts used as a basis for calculation of SI contributions, must be subject to provisions laid down in Article 12, Article 13 and Article 14 in the Decree No. 143;
- Documentation and forms used for management of SI collections will follow instructions given in the Decision No. 595/QD-BHXH dated April 14, 2017; the application form for participation and adjustment in SI and HI information will be completed by using the form No. TK1-TS annexed to the Decision No. 888/QD-BHXH dated July 16, 2018;
Notes: All documentation and forms must be in Vietnamese and English as attachments to the Official Dispatch No. 679.
- Procedures for collection of SI contributions, issue and management of SI booklets are the same as applied to Vietnamese employers and employees participating in SI, HI and UI programs according to instructions given in the Decision No. 595.
