This document provides new guidance on validity of the Acknowledgement of Declaration of Conformity to Food Safety Regulations issued to products before February 2, 2018, specifically including:
- With respect to products having their Acknowledgements that remain valid, they will be excepted from regulatory inspections of food safety for imported products.
- Regulatory procedures for submission of the Acknowledgement are the same as those of the Acknowledgement of Registration of Product Declaration.
- As prescribed by Article 30 of the Decree No. 105/2017/ND-CP imported wine has to obtain the Acknowledgement before importation and product self-declarations submitted by importing enterprises will be accepted for completion of the aforestated procedures.
