This Circular specifies 7 documents that importers must submit to apply for registration of inspection of 1 imported secondhand vehicle, including:
- Registration form of quality, technical and environmental safety inspection given in the Appendix I.
- Copy of the Certificate of registration of marketing authorization remaining valid until the importation date, which is issued by a foreign competent body, or other equivalents;
- Copy of sales invoice;
- Copy of the manufacturer’s VIN interpretation (applied to motor vehicle types specified in the first type approval);
- Original copy of the imported motor vehicle information sheet given in the Appendix III;
- Copy of the manufacturer’s material providing information about functions and technical specifications of the imported motor vehicle;
- Copy of the declaration of imported goods in case of submission of the printed application; date (dd, mm, yyyy) of the declaration in case of submission of the electronic application.
The Circular No. 03/2018/TT-BGTVT is set to commence on March 1, 2018.
