DECISION
APPROVING
THE PRICE BRACKET FOR ELECTRONIC GENERATION FOR COMBINED CYCLE GAS TURBINE
PLANT USING LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS IN 2025
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE
Pursuant to Law on Electricity dated November
30, 2024;
Pursuant to Decree No. 40/2025/ND-CP dated
February 26, 2025, of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers and
organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
Pursuant to Circular No. 09/2025/TT-BCT dated
February 1, 202,5 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the documentation,
procedures, methods for determining and approving the price bracket for
electricity generation; documentation, procedures for developing and approving
the price bracket for imported electricity;
At the request of Vietnam Electricity (EVN)
(document No. 1771/EVN-TTD dated March 20, 2025, document No. 2516/EVN-TTD
dated April 18, 2025 and document No. 3510/EPTC-KDMD dated May 5, 2025);
At the request of Director General of
Electricity Authority of Vietnam.

Article 1. Approving the price
bracket for electronic generation for combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant
using liquefied natural gas (LNG) in 2025
1. The maximum price (VAT not included) of the
electricity generation price bracket for CCGT plants using LNG specified in
Point a of Clause 2 of Article 1 of Circular No. 09/2025/TT-BCT in 2025 is VND 3.327,42/kWh.
2. The parameters used to calculate the maximum
price of the electricity generation price bracket for CCGT plants using LNG in
2025 are as in the attached Appendix.
Article 2. Implementation
Pursuant to the price bracket for electronic
generation specified in Article 1 hereof, EVN and the power generating unit
shall sign a power purchase agreement in compliance with the regulations on the
method of determining the electricity generation service price issued by the
Minister of Industry and Trade.
Article 3. Implementation

1. This Decision comes into force from the date on
which it is signed
2. The Chief of the Ministry Office, Director
General of the Department of Legal Affairs, Heads of units affiliated to the
Ministry, General Director of EVN and Heads of relevant power generating units
are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
