Hiện nay, dịch COVID-19 tại nước ta đã được kiểm soát trên phạm vi toàn quốc với số ca nhiễm, tử vong giảm rõ rệt (hiện chỉ còn dưới 10 ca tử vong/ngày). Tỷ lệ bao phủ vắc xin phòng COVID-19 cao trên phạm vi toàn quốc (trên 96% ở nhóm trên 12 tuổi và đang triển khai tiêm vắc xin cho nhóm từ 5 đến dưới 12 tuổi); vắc xin dự phòng COVID-19 vẫn có hiệu quả với các biến thể vi rút SARS- CoV-2 hiện đang lưu hành.

Căn cứ tình hình, khả năng đáp ứng dịch COVID-19 của nước ta và thực hiện Nghị quyết số 38/NQ-CP ngày 17/3/2022 của Chính phủ ban hành Chương trình phòng, chống dịch COVID-19 với quan điểm “bảo đảm thích ứng an toàn, linh hoạt, kiểm soát hiệu quả dịch COVID-19; phòng, chống dịch theo phương thức quản lý rủi ro; bảo đảm hài hòa, chặt chẽ, hiệu quả giữa các biện pháp phòng, chống dịch với các biện pháp khôi phục và phát triển kinh tế - xã hội”, Bộ Y tế đề nghị Ủy ban nhân dân tỉnh/thành phố chỉ đạo các cơ quan liên quan thực hiện các nội dung sau:

1. Tạm dừng việc áp dụng khai báo y tế nội địa (di chuyển nội địa, nơi công cộng, nhà hàng,...) kể từ 00 giờ 00 phút ngày 30/4/2022.

2. Tiếp tục duy trì các hoạt động giám sát, phát hiện sớm và điều tra, xử lý ổ dịch COVID-19 kịp thời, hiệu quả theo đúng hướng dẫn, chỉ đạo của Chính phủ, Ban chỉ đạo Quốc gia phòng chống dịch COVID-19 và các Bộ, Ngành để bảo vệ sức khỏe nhân dân, duy trì thành quả chống dịch hiện nay với mục tiêu đặt sức khoẻ, tính mạng của người dân lên trên hết, trước hết.

3. Chủ động cập nhật các tài liệu truyền thông, khuyến cáo phòng, chống dịch COVID-19 phù hợp với tình hình hiện nay và chủ động đưa tin kịp thời.

Bộ Y tế tiếp tục cập nhật, cung cấp thông tin về hình hình dịch bệnh trên thế giới và trong nước để có các biện pháp phòng chống dịch phù hợp.

To: The People’s Committees of provinces and central-affiliated cities

Currently, the COVID-19 epidemic in Vietnam has been brought under control as evidenced by sharp decrease in the number of Covid-19 infections and deaths (currently under 10 deaths per day). The nationwide COVID-19 vaccination coverage is high (over 96% of adolescences aged over 12 years old have been vaccinated and children aged from 5 to 12 years old are also being vaccinated); standby vaccines against COVID-19 still provide strong protection against the existing SARS-CoV-2 virus variants.

Based on the situation and capacity of Vietnam to respond to the COVID-19 epidemic and the implementation of Resolution No. 38/NQ-CP dated March 17, 2022 of the Government of Vietnam promulgating the Program on COVID-19 prevention and control with the view “ensure safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the COVID-19 epidemic; prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic according to the method of risk management; ensure harmony, rigor and effectiveness between anti-covid measures and measures for socio-economic recovery and development", the Ministry of Health asks  the People's Committees of the provinces/cities to direct relevant agencies to carry out the following tasks:

1. Suspend the health declaration for domestic travel (travel in Vietnam, travel to public places and restaurants, etc.) from 00:00 o'clock, April 30, 2022.

2. Continue to carry out supervision too early detect, investigate and promptly and effectively handle COVID-19 clusters following instructions and directions of the Government and the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control, ministries and central authorities to protect the people's health and maintain the current anti-covid achievements with the goal of putting the people’s health and life first an d foremost.

3. Proactively update media materials for COVID-19 prevention and control according to current Covid-19 situation and inform timely.

The Ministry of Health of Vietnam shall update and provide information about the pandemic situation in Vietnam as well as in the world to have appropriate anti-covid measures.
